Lègassi Doula Services
Supporting you through pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care.

Supporting you through pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care.

I'm Coline, the heart behind Lègassi Doula Services.
I am a professionally trained birth doula with a foundation as a maternity nurse in the Netherlands, where I supported women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postnatal period. These experiences shaped a deep understanding of the importance of consistent, attentive care during one of life’s most transformative moments.
I am also a mother of three, each with their own unique birth experience. This has given me a personal insight into the different ways birth can unfold and the importance of feeling supported, informed, and respected throughout.
My approach is grounded in presence, discretion, and trust. I offer a calm and steady space where women feel seen, heard, and fully supported, emotionally, physically, and mentally. Every aspect of my work is centred on helping you move through your journey with clarity, confidence, and a sense of control.
I hold a strong and intentional commitment to improving the experiences and outcomes of Black women within maternity care. At the same time, Lègassi Doula Services is built on inclusive, culturally aware support, welcoming all women and families who value personalised, high-quality care.
This is not just support. It is considered continuous care, tailored entirely to you.
Légassi, where your journey is held with care, intention, and quiet strength.
At Lègassi Doula Services, doula support is delivered with intention, discretion, and a deep respect for your individual journey.
From pregnancy through to the early postnatal period, I provide continuous, one-to-one support that is both nurturing and quietly empowering. My role is to ensure you feel informed, prepared, and supported in every decision, without pressure, judgement, or overwhelm.
Each experience is carefully tailored, allowing space for your preferences, your pace, and your voice. Whether you are planning a hospital birth or exploring alternative settings, I adapt seamlessly to create a calm, reassuring presence throughout.
With a professional background in maternity care in the Netherlands, I bring an international perspective to my work, alongside the ability to support Dutch-speaking clients who may feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their native language.
I also have experience supporting clients with additional needs, including SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), and approach every family with patience, understanding, and flexibility, ensuring care is adapted in a way that feels safe and accessible.
I am particularly mindful of women who may feel unheard or overlooked within maternity systems, offering care that is culturally aware, respectful, and grounded in advocacy where needed.
Lègassi is not simply about support; it is about how you are held throughout your experience. With care that is considered, personal, and aligned with the standard you deserve.

This is our opportunity to connect and get to know one another. During this relaxed conversation, we can talk about you, your pregnancy, and any questions or thoughts you may have. It’s a gentle space for us to see whether we're a good fit and to explore how I can support you throughout this special journey.
